To get here by sub­way:
Take the F train to 2nd Avenue and get on the 1st Avenue end of the plat­form, walk North 3.5 blocks and we’re on the West side of the street.
Or take 6 train to bleeker st stop, head east on bleeker st, go north on bow­ery, east on 3rd St, round the cor­ner and we’re on the west side of the street.
On the L train get off at 1st avenue stop, head south for 10.5 blocks and we’re on the west side of the street.

Karma has been open since 1999.  It is one of only a few bars left in the city where cig­a­rette smok­ing is still per­mit­ted! With great music, great friends and a revolv­ing door of par­ties cater­ing to per­sons all across New York City’s broad cast of char­ac­ters and per­son­al­i­ties com­ing from all over the world, you’re sure to find Karma your kind of place.  Hookahs are top qual­ity and priced so that your enjoy­ment is assured.

While we rec­og­nize and indulge the priv­i­lege we have of being one of 6 smok­ing bars still in New York City we also appre­ci­ate the dis­com­fort that comes from a smoke filled lounge.  We have installed a sys­tem that includes 5 super heavy duty units that serve as air puri­fiers, ion­iz­ers, deodor­iz­ers and san­i­tiz­ers for the air inside the bar.   Fur­ther­more, we have installed a mas­sive ion­izer and fan that sim­ply reduces smoke par­ti­cles to dust and makes the air clean instantly!

When we bought and installed the sys­tem we were under­stand­ably skep­ti­cal, how­ever, to our amaze­ment this rev­o­lu­tion­ary upgrade has left cus­tomers sat­is­fied and with clothes and hair that don’t smell of being in a smok­ing bar.
